Chillidaren burdinezko Eguzkia

The Arantzazuko Adiskideak association, with the collaboration of Arantzazuko Santutegia, Arantzazulab, Oñati Town Council, the Chillida Belzunce family and the Maushaus studio in San Sebastian, has organised two sessions of art workshops for children aged between 6 and 12 in Arantzazu on Sundays 20th and 27th October from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. This year, coinciding with the centenary of the birth of Eduardo Chillida (1924-2002), they will have the opportunity to analyse the work he did on the doors of the Basilica of Arantzazu. 

The Chillidaren burdinezko Eguzkia workshop, given by the Maushaus studio, will focus on Eduardo Chillida. The activity will begin at 10.30 am at the Gandiaga Topagunea centre, where there will be a brief introduction to the workshop with projected images, and will continue with a guided tour to study and directly observe one of his works - the doors of the Basilica - and to practice the ‘frottage’ technique. Once the visit is over, the participants will go to the Gandiaga Topagunea cultural centre to continue with the work, where they will be able to get closer to his work by means of drawing and collage on paper.
