Musical tributes to Eduardo Chillida

On the occasion of the centenary of Eduardo Chillida's birth, the 85th San Sebastian Musical Fortnight is paying tribute to the sculptor from San Sebastian as part of this year's programme with different activities. On the 1st of August, the Kresala Dantza Taldea company will open the edition with the premiere of the show Hiru on the esplanade of the Peine del Viento XV, with free admission. As part of the Organ Cycle, on the 3rd of August, the Polish organist Karol Mossakowski will pay tribute to Chillida in the Basilica of Santa María del Coro in a free concert with a programme featuring works by J.S. Bach and Widor. On the other hand, the Chillida Leku Museum and the Cristobal Balenciaga Museum will be hosting the show Noeud by DAB Dantza konpainia on the 9th and 10th of August, which also pays tribute to the figure of Eduardo Chillida.
