The map of Chillida

The publishing house Norma Cómics, in collaboration with the Eduardo Chillida - Pilar Belzunce Foundation, presents the graphic novel ‘El mapa de Chillida’ (Chillida's Map) by the cartoonist David Marto. In this graphic novel, the cartoonist David Marto invites us to discover Chillida's work through the eyes of a young student who is in love with the work of the great Basque sculptor. The main character in the story, Marta, has dreamt of accompanying her grandfather to visit the main monuments by Eduardo Chillida that are scattered all over Spain. When her grandfather dies, Marta decides to pay tribute to him by fulfilling her dream and turning the contemplation of Chillida's sculptures into different stages of an unforgettable journey. The comic includes a 24-page dossier on Eduardo Chillida and his work.
