The exhibition ‘Eduardo Chillida’ brings together 41 works by the artist, including sculptures, drawings and engravings, dated between 1948 and 1997, covering more than six decades of production.

Curated by Javier Molins, doctor in Fine Arts and art critic, it will begin with a series of figurative drawings by Chilida, to give way to a room with fifteen drawings of hands, one of the most recurrent themes in his work, and another with 17 gravitations, another of his most characteristic works.

The exhibition concludes with a room dedicated to the Spanish pavilion at the 29th Venice Biennale, which led Chillida to win the International Sculpture Grand Prix in 1958, which undoubtedly gave a great boost to his career. This room will bring together three sculptures and a relief that formed part of that exhibition. One of the sculptures is on loan from the Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna in Rome.
